My Birthday on Maui

The weekend after my birthday mom took me to Maui. It was pretty nice. The first day we took the road to Hana on the far side of the island. It was a long and winding road but had plenty of photo opts along the way. All of the waterfall shots and most of the landscapes are from that day. The second day we spent tanning on the beach, shopping, and eating at the Hard Rock Cafe. On the last day we went to the aquarium. It was small but had some things I had never heard of and/or seen before like Garden Eels. Then we explored, shopped some more, got some Krispy Kremes and left. It was a pretty good birthday. Next month we are going to Molokai and great news...we just got our tickets to Australia for October!!!

Awww......I've been to that aquarium many times......it's small but cool. Did you shop in Lahina? I never did the road to Hana because I was too busy nannying but I'm sure it was great. I want to hear specifics about everywhere you went so I can relive it all. E-mail me!

P.S. Don't let any of the lepers get you on Molokai! I hear the horseback ride down the cliffs is awesome.

Oh it must me a rough life!) Wonderful pictures! Thank you for sharing. The photos of Ho'okipa are amazing, and so are the ones at Oheo Gulch. I'm trying to make it out there again soon, but the curves on the Road to Hana make me a little sick. I'll need to take some long stops. Hope you had fun. Mahalo Nui Loa.
